It’s the Great Orb Weaver, Charlie Brown

Just in time for Halloween, a bright orange, pumpkin-like spider was forthrightly making its way across a paved path. I think it’s a female Marbled orb weaver (Araneus marmoreus).

Thiodina Goes Wild

From the side this tiny, globular creature initially could’ve passed for animal or vegetable — until it started crawling upwards, ending the debate. It may be something within the family of Jumping spiders (perhaps Thiodina sylvana).

Sticky little acrobat

Not sure, but this woodland aerialist may be another orbweaver, this time an Orchard orbweaver (Leucauge venusta). They seem to prefer to build their webs horizontally and dangle from underneath.
