Growing along one of the hillier trails in the park, one clump of bright green moss suggested both a plump pear and a rather squatty evergreen.

Guacamolde

Little bits of mold-like moss or lichen grew in just the right way around a fallen log’s knot to suggest a split avocado.

Rocky Picture Show

On a narrow strip of land between Henry Hudson Trail and Sandy Hook Bay, boulders and rocks were alternately covered with moss or ice, creating a mixed spring-like and wintry vista.
