Scudderia missile

As it fluttered by, this Bush katydid (genus Scudderia) looked like a whitish bit of fluff floating through the air. After it landed, though, its remarkably leaf-like appearance became clear.

Long-legged leaf leaper

This leaf-like bug stood out like a sore green thumb on one of the wider paved paths of the park. It might be a True katydid (Pterophylla camellifolia), but I’m really not sure.
