Beeline to Bloomtown

I was focusing on the bee partaking of one of the cherry blooms near the top left of this branch, then later noticed the other buzzy little chum on his way to join him (or her) in the nectar harvest.

Skewers, soft & sweet

About a week after the Amanogawa cherry blossoms hung in clusters like spring fruit, they filled out into branches of frilly flower kebabs stabbing at the sky. Bees flew in to enjoy the sweet feast.

Yellow Star Clusters

Looking at a common shrub like forsythia, as if for the first time, its bright yellow petals evoke a young galaxy of stars, still clustered close but spreading out in all directions.
