The Triplets of Holmdel

With their orange-tinged heads held high, these three cormorants were moving in elegant harmony around the lower pond at Holmdel Park.

If they’re Double-crested cormorants (Phalacrocorax auritus), they may be resting over on their way back north for the summer.
