Tawny tigress

Found this small butterfly resting on a twisty vine near the lake in Thompson Park one chilly morning.

I think it may be a Pearl crescent (Phyciodes tharos), perhaps a female. On the other hand, it could be a Tawny or Northern crescent. Hard to tell.
