An arachnid but not a spider, this leggy creeper is a harvestman (Leiobunum) happily hanging out by a small clump of yarrow (Achillea millefolium) with its plump, grey-white pincushion centers and fringe-frondy leaves.

Although their form and touchy-tentative gait can be unsettling, harvestmen are apparently quite harmless.
